The beautiful blue waters of the Bahamas, makes you want to stay forever! The swimming pigs are REAL! They do live on the island, and yes I got in the water and swam with them! Exuma, Bahamas is a remote island that has amenities along with peace and quiet! Adventures or you can just sit on the beach or at the pool. It’s never cram packed with tourists, it’s visited by people that want to chill with family and friends without all of the millions of other people traveling the world. I have designs that I also created for The Grand Isle Resort & Spa in another category.
Favorite drink was on the private beach; a Miami Vice
Favorite meal: Lobster roll with sweet potato fries, poolside
Favorite activity: Swimming in the ocean, snorkeling and then watching a shark swim under half the people that were with us in the boat. (We didn’t know them, but it was awesome. The newly married couple got on the boat and I asked if they saw the shark under them, the husband said yes! The new wife said, WHAT?!? He responded…That’s why I didn’t tell you, you would have freaked out and gotten us killed.) HAHA!
Traveling around D.C. was wonderful! We went the last week of October into the first week of November. It was the PERFECT time to go! All of the school tours are complete! Plus flight and hotel rooms are more reasonably priced! We didn’t make a single appointment or purchase any tickets ahead of time, we didn’t have to wait in line to see the Dec. of Ind. or any other museum. My favorite was the Newseum! With so many different locations and lighting, these selected are my top picks.
Aubrey wanted to celebrate turning 30! Plus graduating from DBU with her Masters! This is going to be a great year for Aubrey & what better way than to commemorate it with fun-filled photos!
